This Thing Called Life…..

About

I am a nurse and live with my partner, our daughter, and our dog Manny in an old house in the country. I love how this house gives us much natural light…. in return there is much love here. My life was changed this year on a mission trip to Kenya. I realized just how blessed I am. This has been life changing…..I struggle with depression and anxiety and have realized after this trip how short and amazing life is! I am blessed beyond belief!I am also ready for the next adventure! With all that being said, this blog may be about depression, anxiety, life with a teenager, the ups and downs of life with your partner (and mine is the best in the world!) :) cleaning up dog puke, the joys of losing weight and forcing myself to exercise,or my next travel adventure! So basically you will have to check back often….you never know what you will find here!

    Hello,

Love your blog! My partner and I live in NC, with my 13 dd. The older two are grown and on their own. I will keep you in my prayers. I’ve been through stuff, w/ my 20 yo dd. No drugs, but just as dramatic. Hard to watch your child become someone you don’t know. It DOES get better. Take care,

We need to email. I went thru the IDENTICAL situation, when my middle child was a senior. She nearly killed me….emotionally I mean. It took alot, and 2 years later, she’s a different person now. Don’t give up, yet. I know where your at, I was there…I was tired, I hated going home..our lives revolved around her moods. I really do know. Your not alone. Feel free to email me.

    In HIS grip,

    Chris
